Aryae Coopersmith is founder and CEO of the HR Forums. His passion is to bring together leaders to challenge and support each other to dream bigger, reach higher, act more strategically, and make a bigger difference.
In 1992 he partnered with Tom Peters, co-author of In Search of Excellence, in putting together the first meeting of the HR Forums. A lot has changed since then, but the extraordinary value that HR executives find in learning from each other hasn’t. Today the members of the HR Forums get together with their peers and guest thought leaders, in person and on-line, to share knowledge and creative thinking about advancing the success and well being of all their stakeholders.
Prior to founding the HR Forums, Aryae was a Principal with The Tom Peters Group in Palo Alto, where he was practice leader for learning interventions in computer industry accounts. In the decade prior to that, he worked as a sales manager and account executive in Silicon Valley.
Aryae has an MA in Humanistic Psychology from California State University, Sonoma, and served in the 1970s as an Instructor and Program Coordinator for the Peralta Community College District. He lives near the beach with his wife Wendy, and works out of his home office in the little town of El Granada, a few miles south of San Francisco.
